Example 2
CF319 (5' - TGGTCCGTRTCTCAGTAC - 3'), is an antisense 16S rRNA probe
designed to target CFB bacteria[1].
It targets the region of the 16S rRNA gene from bases 319 to 336,
relative to Escherichia coli.
In this example we want to assess how good this probe is at
describing the CFB division (as described by the RDP
release 8.1) to the exclusion of all other bacteria. In
addition we want to see how well it targets some novel uncultured CFB
bacteria of our own.
We will action the following steps:
- Construct database.
- Enter probe.
- Do analysis.
- View results.
