Bad Sequences panel


The Bad Sequences panel (Fig. 1) lists those anomalous sequences identified by the program.  Sequences are ranked in decreasing order of likelihood of being anomalous.

Panel contents

  1. Sequence accession number.
  2. Highest DE difference - measures the distance between most extreme outlier for that sequence and the cut-off line.  The greater the DE difference, the more likely it is that the sequence in question is anomalous.
  3. Number of outliers - the number of outlier DE values caused by the sequence.  Also indicates the likelihood of a sequence being anomalous.
  4. Selection status - the current selection status of the sequence. 
  5. Result summary - summarises the likelihood that the sequence is anomalous.

Tip...

Sequence records can be de-selected from future analysis, by clicking their selected icons.
